The question of what I will be doing in twenty years is a hard one to answer. I honestly don’t have a clue what I’ll be doing in a few months let alone the next twenty years. However, I do have a goal that I would like to accomplish in the next two decades. I want to be working as a computer engineer, one that develops new hardware that advances the computing potential of humanity. Hopefully pushing the forefront of computing technology.

At the end of this year I will be glad to read about my acceptance into a University of California and celebrate the end of my worries and that my future is secure more or less. As the next school year begins I will be attending my first classes on the way to complete a degree in computer engineering and a minor in electrical engineering. During my studies in college I will hopefully have a part-time job or internship lined up that is related to computer engineering to further build my credentials and experience to help accomplish my goal.

After graduating from my college I will continue my education and hopefully enroll and be accepted into a masters program for computer engineering. There I will complete my studies and present my thesis that will revolutionize computer hardware. With my discovery I will either be invited to a large tech company to further solidate my research and bring forth more advancements such as higher processing capabilities with the integration of quantum computing or whatnot. At the age of 38 I’m a well respected computer engineer working on forwarding mankind through computers.

Although it is a very far fetched plan, I will strive to accomplish my goals with resolve and careful planning. It’s hard to say what I’ll be doing in twenty years, but I look forward to the future that lies ahead of me.
